There are several possibilities here:

1. Have you put the headphones on the right way round?

2. Are the headphones plugged in firmly?

3. Are you possibly using a MONO plug (one black ring) instead of a stereo plug (two black rings)?

4. On earlier models (e.g. LT3.0): Has the lateralisation been stopped manually via stop button?
