hearing - seeing - comprehending:

MediTECH offers highly successful testing and training solutions. These are designed to help both children and adults compensate for deficits in their central processing and perception. A large number of trainers and experts who work according to the Warnke® method confirm that children and adolescents with reading and spelling difficulties often have noticeable problems with central auditory processes, motor functions, self-perception, sense of balance, eye-hand coordination, and auditory-motor coordination. When the MediTECH® training program is used to train these basic skills, lasting progress can be achieved. This has a significant positive effect on the ability of the person being trained to express themselves correctly, both in writing and orally.

Poor concentration, chronic pain, or migraines—these symptoms require a lot of patience, not only from those affected, but also from those around them. MediTECH® has partnered with Canadian company Thought Technology Ltd. to offer biofeedback and neurofeedback treatments that teach the patient's body to help itself without side effects.

Whether children or adults, when people are restricted in their activities, we want to offer comprehensive help quickly. With a great deal of creativity for new products, new target groups, and new challenges, we are constantly opening up complementary areas of work where we can provide systematic assistance.

Biofeedback and neurofeedback have been well-known topics in science, research, and practical application for many years—and each discipline understands the terms and thematic connections a little differently.

Biofeedback is a term that describes the feedback of the body's own biological signals, which under normal circumstances are not uncommon, but only very vaguely perceived. How fast is your heart beating, how warm is your index finger, how tense are your shoulder muscles? The biofeedback process makes you aware of what is going on in your body, allowing you to train yourself to improve your health, performance, and well-being by perceiving your body's signals.

Neurofeedback is a scientific method of behavioral medicine that makes it possible to measure, consciously influence, and modulate brain activity. This has an effect on attention and concentration, for example, but also on relaxation. The process uses technological means to measure and record various parameters of brain activity such as brain waves (EEG), slow cortical potentials (SCP), and oxygen saturation (HEG), and then feeds this information back to the client either acoustically or visually.

The aim of neurofeedback therapy is to improve perception and consciously influence psychophysiological processes. Biofeedback and neurofeedback are used for different applications depending on the specialist area. The focus is on individual abilities and the clinical picture, as well as the goal that the patient wants to achieve. This training is highly adaptable and enables the patient to respond rationally to changes at any time.
