Declaration

We are aware that the protection of your privacy when using our websites is an important concern. We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. Therefore we would like you to know when we store which data and how we use them. We would therefore like to inform you about our data protection measures with this data protection declaration.

Data acquisition

When you call up our website, data such as the name of your Internet service provider, the website from which you are visiting us, the websites you visit with us and your IP address are stored on the servers of our technical service provider ODOO or its business partners for security purposes. This data could possibly allow identification, but we do not use it for this purpose. They can be evaluated for statistical purposes, but the individual user remains anonymous. If data is passed on to external service providers, we have taken technical and organisational measures to ensure that the regulations of data protection are observed. Our website integrates content from other providers. This can be pure content elements (e.g. news, updates) but also widgets (functions such as weather news). For technical reasons, this is done by loading these contents from other servers by the browser. In this context, the IP currently used by your browser is transmitted.

Collection and processing of personal data

Personal data is only collected if you provide it to us voluntarily, e.g. when registering, filling out forms or sending e-mails, when ordering products or services, making inquiries or requests for material or in the member area. The database and its contents remain with us and our technical service provider. Your personal data will not be made available to third parties in any form by us or by persons commissioned by us, unless we have your consent or an official order to do so.

In detail, the following data can be stored:

• IP address (if possible, this is transmitted or stored anonymously)

• Domain name of the website you came from

We store IP addresses, if at all, over a period of a few days. This storage is done for data security reasons to ensure the stability and security of our system. We reserve the right to statistically evaluate anonymous data records.

Intended Use

We will only use the personal data collected from you to provide you with the requested products or services, or for other purposes for which you have given your consent, unless otherwise required by law.

Right of access and rectification

You have the right to check and correct all data relating to your person that is stored with us if you believe it is out of date or incorrect. For this purpose, it is sufficient to send an e-mail to the address given in the imprint.

Right of revocation

You have the option at any time to object to the collection, processing and use of your data and/or to revoke your consent to the collection, processing and transfer of your personal data with effect for the future. Data for billing and accounting purposes are not affected by this. For this purpose, it is sufficient to send an e-mail to the e-mail address given in the imprint.

Retention of data (Data Retention)

We store personal data for as long as it is necessary to provide a service that you have requested or for which you have given your consent, unless there are legal obligations to the contrary, such as in the case of ongoing legal proceedings. However, we are obliged to observe the retention periods under commercial law.

Security

We use technical and organisational security measures to protect the data you have made available from accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons. In the event of the collection and processing of personal data, the information is transmitted in encrypted form to prevent misuse of the data by third parties. Our security measures are continuously revised in line with technological developments.

Confidentiality of your customer access

If you have been given access to a restricted area on our website that is secured by a password, you are responsible for keeping that password confidential. We ask you not to share the password with anyone.

SSL encryption

This website uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption for the transmission of data from your browser to our server and to servers that provide files that we embed on our website.

With SSL, data is transmitted in encrypted form. The data cannot be changed and the sender can be identified.

You can recognize the presence of SSL encryption by the prefixed text "https" in front of the address of the web page they call in the browser.

Children

Protecting the privacy of children is an important issue. For this reason, we do not collect, process or use information on our website from persons known to us to be under 13 years of age without first obtaining the verifiable consent of a legal representative. Upon request, the legal representatives may view the information provided by their child or request that it be deleted.

Contact form

The personal data that you provide us with in the context of a contact request, e.g. by means of a contact form, will only be used to answer your request or contact you and for the related technical administration. It will not be passed on to third parties. You have the right to revoke a given consent with effect for the future at any time. In this case your personal data will be deleted immediately. Your personal data will also be deleted without your revocation if we have processed your inquiry or if you revoke the consent given here for storage. This also happens if the storage is not permitted for other legal reasons.
