Tinnicur

Test and auditory training in case of tinnitus

Up to eight million people in Germany suffer at least occasionally from " ear noises". Most of these are perceived by the ears, but they actually originate from the central auditory processing system. Studies from the Jülich Research Center, for example, has shown that a targeted acoustic neuromodulation has a significantly positive effect on those who suffer from tinnitus and can reduce the tinnitus noise.

Tinnicur-system's procedure initially enables us to reproduce the noise perceived by the affected person as accurately as possible and thus make it audible and comprehensible especially for the relatives. Based on the evaluation of the tinnitus signals by frequency, type, volume and consistency, a targeted central auditory training is then customized and implemented, whereby the affected person regularly listens to particularly filtered classical music and thus stimulates his or her neural auditory processing.
